Mark Cavendish will not take part in 2022 Tour de France as his team are not currently planning to take him to the Tour de France. Mark will be riding the Giro d’Italia.
Winning the British road race title along with winning other races, Mark was pretty confident to take part in Tour de France. But all his winnings were in vain as he was not selected for the Tour.
Previously Mark equaled Eddy Merckx's Tour de France record of 34 stage victories during last year's race, winning four stages.
The Tour de France will begin in Copenhagen, Denmark on Friday.
