Mark Allen clinched his maiden UK Championship title.

Comeback king Mark Allen claimed the biggest title of his career after reeling off seven frames in a row to defeat Ding Junhui by 10-7 and win the UK Championship at the Barbican Centre in York.

Ding Junhui headed into the clash full of confidence after thrashing the great Ronnie O'Sullivan 6-0 in the quarter-final, and Tom Ford 6-3 in the semi-final.

But Allen stunned the York crowd coming from 6-1 behind to defeat his rival, Ding Junhui 10-7 to win the crown.
