Marco Rose replaced Domenico Tedesco as the coach of RB Leipzig.

FC RB Leipzig officially announced the appointment of Marco Rose as their new head coach after the departure of Domenico Tedesco.

The 45-year-old, Marco Rose agreed with the terms and has signed a two-year contract with RB Leipzig. The signed contract will remain active until the end of the 2023-24 season.

RB Leipzig sacked their former coach Domenico Tedesco immediately after a shocking defeat against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League. Under the coaching of Domenico, they lost the German Super Cup at the start of the campaign to Bayern Munich.

Marco Rose has been a member of the Red Bull stable of clubs before. He won two Austrian titles with Red Bull Salzburg before his move to Germany. His first head coaching job was with Lokomotive.

Rose's first match in charge of RB Leipzig will be at home against Dortmund on Saturday.
