An Australian rugby league club has taken an weird decision to wear rainbow jerseys in celebration of gay pride.

As a result of this unpredicted decision seven players from Manly Warringah Sea Eagles announced to boycott a key match which will be played against the the Roosters.

Hearing the statement from the players, Manly's coach Des Hasler has apologized on behalf of the club for the poor execution in unveiling a pride jersey.

Further he said the media and confirmed that religious and cultural differences was the main reason for asking the players to wear the rainbow jerseys.
