Manika Batra Highlights Key Trends in Table Tennis Popularity in India.

Manika Batra, a leading figure in Indian women’s table tennis, believes that the sport is progressing well due to the UTT tournament, which draws top international players.

Manika Batra and Sreeja Akula recently made history as the first Indian table tennis players to reach the Olympics singles pre-quarterfinals in Paris.

Next, the 29-year-old Manika will compete for Bengaluru Smashers in the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) league starting Thursday.

Manika noted, "The UTT has been beneficial for me, as it brings players from various countries, allowing us to compete and collaborate with them."
