Manchester United suffered a net loss of £115.5m for the 2021-22 season.

After all sorts of analysis, Premier League Club Manchester United has announced that they have suffered a net loss of £115.5m ($130.4 million, 132.2 million euros) for the 2021-22 season, despite revenues rising from 18 % to £583.2m

The report means that a jump from £419.5m in 2021 to £514.9m this year, an increase of more than 22 percent, while the latest results detail that £33.6m worth of dividends were paid to shareholders.

United finished the 2021-22 Premier League season in sixth place with their lowest points total since the Premier League replaced England's First Division in 1992. Failure to qualify for the Champions League will also hurt United's future finances.

However as per to United's Chief Financial Officer, Cliff Baty the earnings for the 2022-23 will also be impacted by a lack of Champions League football, but should be boosted by a summer tour to Australia and Asia.
