Manchester United reported a net loss of £113.2m for the year ending 30 June, according to their latest accounts.
Manchester United has reported a £113.2m loss for 2023-24, adding to previous losses of £28.7m in 2022-23 and £115.5m in 2021-22, bringing their total losses over the last five years to over £370m.
Despite these figures, the club is not expected to breach the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules, as some expenses are excluded from the calculations, and clubs can apply certain allowances.
Premier League rules cap losses at £105m over three years, and clubs like Everton and Nottingham Forest have faced penalties for exceeding this limit.
United's chief executive, Omar Berrada, reassured that the club is still compliant with both Premier League and Uefa financial regulations.
These financial results come from a season where the team finished eighth in the Premier League and bottom of their Champions League group but won the FA Cup.
Additionally, British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe bought a 27.7% stake in the club during the season.
