Malaysia's Goh Jin Wei defeated the Indian shuttler Malvika Bansod in straight two games with a margin of 21-10, 21-17 in court 2. Goh Jin Wei dominates Malvika throughout the game and did not let her to win the game.
In court 1, Indian duo shuttlers had to face the defeat against Malaysian duo of Thinaah Muralitharan and Tan Pearly in the women’s doubles category. Muralitharan and Pearly were extremely dominant, sealing the match by winning two straight games 21-14, 21-14.
On court 2, the Chinese duo of Liu Xuan Xuan and Xia Yu Ting smashed out the Indian-American duo of Srivedya Gurazada and Ishika Jaiswal in the first round of the women's doubles.
