Lord's will host the World Test Championship final for the first time in the summer of 2025, according to the International Cricket Council.
Australia, the defending champions, won the 2023 World Test Championship final at The Oval, while New Zealand triumphed in Southampton in the inaugural 2021 edition.
The five-day final, starting on June 11, 2025, will feature the top two teams from the Test Championship rankings.
Currently, India leads the standings, followed by Australia in second place. New Zealand is in third, and England is fourth, having lost six of their 15 tests over the past 18 months.
Teams are ranked based on their Test performances over a two-year cycle that began in 2023.
The finalists for the Lord’s match will be determined by January 28, with New Zealand, England, and South Africa still in contention for a spot in the final.
