Under-pressure West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui has urged fans to hold off on judging his performance until the season concludes.
Former Real Madrid and Spain manager Julen Lopetegui, who took over from David Moyes this summer, has had a rocky start at West Ham despite a £120m investment in nine new players.
The Hammers have set an unfortunate record by losing their first three home games, capped off by a crushing 5-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.
Lopetegui, feeling the pressure after a 3-0 loss to Chelsea, acknowledged the criticism from fans but remained unfazed.
"The life of a coach is always like this," he said, as frustrations mount over the team's slow start to the season.
