Singapore's Loh Kean Yew knocked out Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth in the round of 16 match of the men's singles category of the ongoing Denmark Open 2022.
Loh Kean Yew took just 35 minutes to dampen Srikanth by 21-13, 21-15 and advanced into the next stage of Denmark Open.
While Indian duo Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty progressed into the quarterfinal stage after defeating Indonesian duo of Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Bagas Maulana in the round of 16 by 21-14, 21-16.
On the other hand, India women's duo of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand suffered shocking defeat against Thailand duo of Rawinda Prajongjai and Jongkolphan Kititharakul in their round of 16 match and as a result the Indian duo has been knocked out of the ongoing Denmark Open event.
