Brenden Aaronson and Dan James scored for Leeds, leading them to a comfortable win over Sheffield Wednesday in the Yorkshire derby at Hillsborough.
Aaronson put Leeds ahead with his second goal in three Championship matches this season. Dan James added a neat dinked finish three minutes into the second half to secure Leeds' first league win of the campaign.
Sheffield Wednesday suffered another heavy defeat. After a 4-0 win over Plymouth on the opening day, they were hammered 4-0 by Sunderland and lost again to Leeds.
Wednesday struggled defensively, especially when trying to play the ball out from the back. Leeds, on the other hand, had a smooth performance, with a brilliant first-half move starting from Jayden Bogle’s pass down the right, leading to James setting up Aaronson for the opener.
