Ledecky Makes History as USA's Most Decorated Female Olympian.

Katie Ledecky became the most decorated female Olympian in U.S. history, while France's Leon Marchand advanced to another final on an exciting night of swimming in Paris.

Katie Ledecky, swimming the third leg, helped the USA secure silver in the women's 4x200m relay with a time of 7:40.86 at La Defense Arena. This brought her Olympic medal count to 13, including eight golds, four silvers, and one bronze.

Earlier in the week, the 27-year-old easily retained her 1500m freestyle title and claimed bronze in the 400m freestyle. She aims for another gold in the 800m freestyle on Saturday.

Australia set an Olympic record with a time of 7:38.08 to win gold, while China took bronze in 7:42.34. 

Great Britain's team of Freya Colbert, Abbie Wood, Freya Anderson, and Lucy Hope finished fifth with a time of 7:48.23.
