Charles Leclerc will start from pole position in the Belgian Grand Prix, having qualified second fastest behind Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, who will take a grid penalty.
Max Verstappen, the reigning world champion, dominated the wet qualifying session, beating Charles Leclerc by 0.595 seconds. However, Verstappen faces a 10-place grid penalty for exceeding his engine component limit.
As a result, Red Bull's Sergio Perez, who qualified third, will move up to the front row alongside Leclerc. Lewis Hamilton will start third for Mercedes, with McLaren's Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri rounding out the top five.
Mercedes' George Russell qualified seventh, followed by Ferrari's Carlos Sainz, Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso, and Alpine's Esteban Ocon.
