Lauren James' incredible double goal guided England Women to outclass China and helped them to secure their spot in the last 16 of the Women's World Cup as group winners.

England secured their place in the knockout stages after thrashing China by 6-1.

Chelsea's Lauren James starred for Sarina Wiegman's side, scoring two goals and assisting three in a stunning performance.

Alessia Russo, Lauren Hemp, Chloe Kelly, and Rachel Daly were all on the scoresheet as England dominated China throughout.

They did concede their first goal of the tournament but the penalty made no difference to the result in the end.
