Ospreys hooker Dewi Lake has expressed his desire to continue as Wales captain following his leadership role during their tour in Australia.
Wales lost the Test series 2-0, but Dewi Lake made a strong impression as captain after taking over from Dafydd Jenkins, who led during the 2024 Six Nations.
Jac Morgan, who co-captained the 2023 World Cup and has returned from injury, has been named the new permanent captain of the Ospreys.
With Wales set to face Fiji, Australia, and South Africa in November, Lake has expressed his eagerness to retain the national captaincy as head coach Warren Gatland considers his options. "I'd love to continue; I'd never turn it down," Lake said.
