Kohli's exceptional knock guided India to grab their fourth consecutive victory in the Cricket World Cup 2023.

Virat Kohli scores his 48th one-day international hundred as India power to a seven-wicket win over Bangladesh and grabbed their fourth consecutive victory in the ongoing Cricket World Cup.

Earlier, batting first, Bangladesh managed to put 256/8 on board in their 50 overs. Mushfiqur Rahim's gritty 38(46) and Mahmudullah's contribution of 46(36) helped Bangladesh to put up the score.

Opener Litton Das top-scored for Bangladesh with 66 off 82 balls, while Tanzid Hasan struck a quick 43-ball-51 in a first-wicket partnership of 93.

For India, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Siraj, and Jasprit Bumrah scalped two wickets each.

In reply, India begins the chase strongly as Rohit (48) and Shubman (53) begin in attacking mode and hitting the Bangladeshi bowlers.

Later, Virat Kohli anchored India's 257-run chase with an unbeaten 103 (97b; 6x4, 4x2) as the hosts completed the task in 41.3 overs. They got there with more than eight overs to spare, finishing on 261-3.

With the sensational victory, team India once again ticked off plenty of boxes today in all three departments and headed into their mega clash on Sunday against New Zealand — the only other undefeated team in the tournament so far — full of confidence.
