Judd Trump conquered the Masters snooker final 2023 title.

Former snooker champion, Judd Trump has comfortably conquered his second Masters title after cruising past Mark Williams by 10-8 at Alexandra Palace.

An entertaining and tense title decider in London concluded with the 33 year-old lifting the Paul Hunter Trophy in London.

With the emhpatic win, Trump pocketed £250,000 as prize money and it was his second at the Masters and a fourth Triple Crown title overall.

Mark Williams who at 47 became the oldest Masters finalist since Ray Reardon's run aged 50 in 1983, started the contest off brilliantly with a 138 total clearance in the opening frame.

But the Welshman looked nervous in the exchanges after, and Trump took advantage by producing some of his best snooker of the week.

He led 5-3 into the evening session but trailed 7-6 and 8-7 before triumphing with a clearance of 126 in the final frame. The victory in the first-to-10 final sees Trump pocket a quarter of a million pounds, while runner-up Williams has to settle for £100,000. It is Trump's second ever Masters victory after he defeated Ronnie O'Sullivan 10-4 three years ago.

It is also Trump's 24th ranking title which brings him level in fifth on the all-time list.
