Jordan Brown sealed his spot in the semi-finals after edging past Scotland's Stephen Maguire by 6-5 in a thrilling quarter-final encounter.

On the other frame, Snooker champion Ronnie O’Sullivan is through to the semi-finals courtesy of a battling 6-4 victory over Ali Carter.

In the first semi-final contest, Jordan Brown will play against Tom Ford, who progressed into the last four after cruising past compatriot Barry Hawkins by 6-4 in their quarter-final.

Meanwhile, in the other last-four contest, The Rocket (Ronnie O’Sullivan) will play against Zhang Anda for a place in the final, who won the final three frames to beat Ding Junhui 6-3.
