Irish Cyclist Dunbar Triumphs in Vuelta Stage 11.

Eddie Dunbar executed a perfectly timed break in the final kilometer to secure victory in stage 11 of the Vuelta a España in Padron.

Irish cyclist Eddie Dunbar, who finished seventh in last year's Giro d'Italia, claimed his first Grand Tour stage victory with a comfortable win in stage 11 of the Vuelta a España.

Quinten Hermans took second place, while British rider Max Poole finished third in the 166.5km stage.

Although Australian Ben O'Connor remains the overall leader, he lost 37 seconds to Primoz Roglic in the general standings.

Reflecting on his win, Dunbar said, "It's incredible. Since last year's Vuelta, I've had seven or eight crashes. It's been tough physically, but it was mentally challenging as well."
