The Oval Invincibles claimed their second consecutive Hundred title with a solid 17-run win over Southern Brave in the final at Lord’s.
Chasing 148, Southern Brave started strong but crumbled from 58-0 to 102-7 as the Oval Invincibles took control.
Adam Zampa broke the opening partnership, and Saqib Mahmood dismantled the middle order with three wickets in seven balls.
Will Jacks, who had set the tone with a quickfire 37 from 22 balls, claimed the crucial wicket of Brave captain James Vince, the tournament’s top scorer. Contributions from Sam Curran (25), Jordan Cox (25), and Tom Curran (24 from 11 balls) bolstered the Invincibles’ innings.
Despite Tymal Mills’ impressive 3-33 for Brave, their chase faltered when opener Alex Davies was dismissed by Zampa for 35 from 23 balls.
