Inter Milan celebrated a strong start to their Champions League campaign with an impressive victory over Red Star Belgrade.
Dominating the match, they showcased their attacking prowess and solid defense, earning their first win of the season in style.
The players delivered a thrilling performance, leaving fans eager for what’s to come in the tournament.
Hakan Calhanoglu put Inter Milan ahead in the 11th minute with a beautifully curled free-kick that struck the post before going in.
Marko Arnautovic, the former Stoke and West Ham forward, extended the lead in the 59th minute, finishing easily after Mehdi Taremi stole the ball and set him up.
Taremi was instrumental again in the 71st minute, intercepting the ball in a dangerous spot and assisting substitute Lautaro Martinez for Inter's third goal.
Taremi finally got on the scoresheet himself by converting a penalty late in the match after Martinez was fouled in the box.
Inter made seven changes from their recent Serie A victory against Udinese and had previously drawn 0-0 with Manchester City in their Champions League opener.
Meanwhile, Red Star Belgrade is still looking for their first league-phase win after a 2-1 loss to Benfica in September.
