India women's hockey team extended their win streak by clinching victory over Wales by 3-1 in their second match of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
With this thrilling win, India rises to the top of Pool A with six points from two matches.
Previously, India thrashed Ghana 5-0 in their opening match in the global event.
Goals from Vandana Katariya (26th, 48th) and Gurjit Kaur (28th) secured the win for India. Xenna Hughes (45th) scored the only goal for Wales.
Now India will face England in the next match on Tuesday.
