India has grabbed sensational T20 series win against Australia.

In a thrilling encounter at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, India emerged victorious against Australia in the 4th match of the Australia tour of India 2023.

With the sensational victory, the hosts also clinched the series and taken an unassailable lead of 3-1 in the five-match leg.

Batting first, India displayed a stunning performance and yielded a total of 174/9 in 20 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad provided a solid start, scoring 37 and 32 runs, respectively.

Rinku Singh‘s explosive 46 off 29 balls, along with Jitesh Sharma‘s quick 35 off 19, boosted India’s innings.

For Australia, Ben Dwarshuis and Jason Behrendorff were key bowlers after claiming three wickets each.

In reply, despite Travis Head‘s aggressive 31 off 16 balls and Matthew Wade’s impressive 36 off 23, India bowlers restricted the Aussies to 154 for seven in 20 overs.

Axar Patel emerged as the star with the ball, taking three crucial wickets for just 16 runs in his four overs. Deepak Chahar, Ravi Bishnoi, and Avesh Khan also contributed with wickets, securing their team’s grip on the match.
