ICC Resolute on New York Venue Amid India's Pitch Concerns.

Despite rising concerns about substandard pitches, there are no plans to move any T20 World Cup matches from New York.

Serious concerns are growing over the inconsistent drop-in pitches at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium after the first two matches there.

On Monday, Sri Lanka were bowled out by South Africa for 77 – their lowest T20 score – and on Wednesday, India dismissed Ireland for 96.

BBC Sport reports that India has privately expressed concerns about the unpredictable bounce and two-paced nature of the pitches, worrying about their batters' safety.

India is set to play Pakistan on Sunday at the stadium in Eisenhower Park, with a capacity crowd of 32,000 expected for one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is analyzing data from previous games to determine any necessary actions. However, ICC officials state there are no plans to move any New York games to venues in Florida or Texas, which have natural turf pitches.

An unused pitch has been designated for the India vs. Pakistan match, but this decision could change based on how other pitches perform before the game.
