Polish tennis player Hubert Hurkacz defeated World No.1 player Daniil Medvedev 6-1, 6-4 to win the Halle Open ATP 500 tournament title on Sunday.
Hurkacz had defeated Australia's Nick Kyrgios in the semifinals, whereas, Medvedev defeated Oscar Otte in the semifinals.
Winning this title Hurkacz build up his credentials for the Wimbledon 2022, starting later this month.
It was the fifth title won by the World No. 12 Hubert Hurkacz.
Winning against the World No.1 was a tough job for Hurkacz. But after clinching the title he said "Medvedev is the best player in the world so it's very tricky to play him."
