Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury confirmed to fight MMA star Francis Ngannou on 28th October.

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (35) has officially confirmed to fight against Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) star Francis Ngannou (36)) in a boxing contest.

The highly anticipated and aggressive fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will be staged on 28th October in Saudi Arabia. The bout will be played under the rules of boxing.

Fury is ready to put his belt on the line and face the Cameroonian-French fighter. The two started their feud after Fury defeated Dillian Whyte in April last year at Wembley.

Fury, a man who hasn’t defended his title since December 2022, has attempted to face some of boxing's top fighters. Talks with former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua went south fast following Fury’s unique negotiation tactics.

The same could be said when Fury attempted to fight WBA, IBF, WBO, and The Ring heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

Meanwhile, Ngannou just signed a deal with the Professional Fighters League. Leaving the UFC, Ngannou joined the "Super Fight" division, created by Jake Paul.

He is also a brand ambassador and is allowed to compete in boxing. Ngannou will compete in the PFL cage sometime in 2024.
