Grealish Calls Euros Omission the Toughest Moment of His Career.

Jack Grealish has described his exclusion from England's Euro 2024 squad as the "most difficult thing I have had to deal with in my career."

The Manchester City forward, 28, admitted he was "heartbroken" over being left out of England's Euro 2024 squad but is determined to use the setback as motivation.

Grealish played as a substitute in England's 3-0 warm-up win against Bosnia-Herzegovina just before the tournament but was not selected for Gareth Southgate's final 26-man squad. England reached the final but lost 2-1 to Spain.

"Seeing the tournament everywhere during my holiday made it even harder," Grealish said. "Football-wise, it was the toughest thing I've ever faced in my career. I was absolutely heartbroken. Moving forward, I need to use this experience as motivation for the upcoming season."

Grealish, who joined Manchester City for a British record £100m in August 2021, had previously played for England in the Euro 2020 final against Italy.
