Goalkeeper Alphonse Areola confirms his move from PSG to West Ham.

West Hammers have completed the signing of goalkeeper Alphonse Areola from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a five-year contract for £10.5million.

The French goalkeeper joins from Paris Saint-Germain after spending last season on loan with the West Hammers.

Areola will now join as a permanent player for West Ham after making 17 appearances on loan this season, mainly playing in cup competitions. His contract will remain till 2027 with West Ham, with the clause of an extra year.

Areola made 18 appearances last season, 11 of them in the Europa League as West Ham reached the semi-finals.

It is the second signing of this summer window for Hammers, previously the club signed Rennes central defender Nayef Aguerd for £30m.
