Gibbs-White: England Role ‘Perfect Fit’ for Carsley.

Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White has endorsed Lee Carsley for the England head coach role, stating it "suits him perfectly" for the position.

Morgan Gibbs-White, one of four new additions to Lee Carsley’s squad for the Nations League matches against the Republic of Ireland and Finland, praised Carsley’s appointment.

Alongside Noni Madueke, Tino Livramento, and Angel Gomes, Gibbs-White is eager for the new role.

The 24-year-old midfielder, who has previously worked with Carsley in England’s youth teams and was part of the Under-21 European Championship-winning squad in June 2023, said, “I know how he works—he’s excellent tactically and in man-management. I was thrilled to hear he got the job; it suits him perfectly.”

Gibbs-White, who, like Gomes, also won the Under-17 World Cup in 2017, believes that their winning experience at youth level will benefit the senior squad.
