Get It delivered a jaw-dropping performance to clinch an unexpected victory in the Stewards' Cup at Glorious Goodwood on Saturday. At odds of 40-1, the horse defied the odds and captivated the crowd with a thrilling finish.

The six-year-old 40-1 long shot, ridden by Pat Cosgrave, led from start to finish after starting from stall 28 right against the side rail.

Trainer George Baker, a Sussex local, shared his excitement: 'I've been coming to this race since I was a child and watching it long before I became a trainer. Winning this race on my doorstep means a lot—it’s a huge achievement for me.'

Apollo One made a strong late push to secure second place for the second year running. Trainer Mick Appleby, who had a memorable week at Goodwood with four winners, also saw Billyjoh finish in third.
