GB's Spendolini-Sirieix Narrowly Misses Historic Diving Medal.

Teenager Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix fell short of becoming the first British woman to win two Olympic diving medals, finishing sixth in the 10m platform event at Paris 2024.

After winning bronze with Lois Toulson in the synchronized diving event last week, 19-year-old Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix hoped to achieve similar success in Tuesday's individual 10m platform final.

Despite a strong performance in Monday's semi-finals, she couldn't maintain that level in the final.

The gold medal went to China’s Quan Hongchan, who successfully defended her title from Tokyo with a perfect 10 on her opening dive.
Her teammate Chen Yuxi took silver, mirroring their one-two finish from the previous Games.

North Korea’s Kim Mi Rae claimed the bronze.
