Jack Draper, Cameron Norrie, and Dan Evans, the top three male players from Britain, have been selected to represent the Davis Cup team during the group stage in Manchester this September.
British Davis Cup captain Leon Smith has assembled a formidable team for the upcoming group stage in Manchester this September. Alongside singles players Jack Draper, Cameron Norrie, and Dan Evans, doubles specialists Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski round out the five-man squad.
Captain Smith retains the option to make up to three changes, potentially adding Wimbledon men's doubles champion Henry Patten to the mix.
"We’ve got a really strong team once again and I’m sure it’s going to be another special week in Manchester," said Smith.
Drawn in Group D, Britain will face Finland on 13 September, runners-up Argentina on 15 September, and Canada on 17 September at the AO Arena.
Last year, a British team featuring three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray reached the quarter-finals. Their last Davis Cup victory came in 2015.
