Galligan's Triumph: Ice, Pain, and Glory in WXV Comeback.

Rosie Galligan, England's second row, used a detailed, high-tech recovery plan, tracking her progress "hour by hour," to get fit in time for the WXV campaign.

At 26, Rosie Galligan hadn't worn the England jersey since April, sidelined by a broken thumb during a warm-up and later a major foot injury. Now, after months of setbacks, she's back and ready for action.

Red light therapy, often hailed as a cutting-edge recovery tool, is said to boost cell regeneration and slash inflammation, speeding up the body’s natural healing process.

Galligan is no stranger to tough recoveries.

In 2019, she battled meningitis and soon after returning, broke her ankle, needing four pins to fix the joint.
