Like many teenagers, Jack Draper sometimes showed frustration on the tennis court.
Jack Draper's journey to the US Open semi-finals wasn’t without its moments of frustration. He would sometimes smash racquets, berate himself, and even need to apologize to umpires.
This was all part of growing up, according to Justin Sherring, Draper’s coach from ages five to 15.
Sherring recalls, "His temper did get the best of him at times. I had to call his racquet manufacturer a few times after Jack broke them. We did have our disagreements, but looking back, I’m glad he went through that."
