Frank Casts Doubt on Toney's Brentford Future: Uncertainty Looms.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank says Ivan Toney's future with the club is uncertain, but he might still play against Liverpool on Sunday.

Ivan Toney, 28, was absent from Brentford's Premier League opener against Crystal Palace amid transfer rumors linking him to the Saudi Pro League and several English clubs.

Brentford reportedly rejected a £35 million offer from Saudi club Al-Ahli.

Despite training well, his involvement against Liverpool is uncertain, according to manager Thomas Frank.

Frank acknowledged that Toney's future with the club is still undecided, stating, "He could stay or leave by the end of August. If he stays, I'm happy; if he goes, I'm happy for him."

Toney joined Brentford from Peterborough in 2020 and scored 20 goals in 33 Premier League games last season.
