Foxes Boss Thomas Criticizes 'Ridiculous' Rule in The Hundred.

Leicestershire head coach Alfonso Thomas has called out The Hundred's player participation rules as 'ridiculous.'

The injury-plagued Foxes lost to Surrey in the One-Day Cup on Tuesday and face Yorkshire on Thursday, marking their fourth game in a week.

Thomas is frustrated that while his team struggles with injuries, several Leicestershire players have played only sporadically for their Hundred teams. He feels they would benefit more from playing for their county if not selected for the Hundred.

Thomas said, 'The win on Sunday against Sussex came at a cost – we lost Ben Mike and Matt Salisbury, and Liam Trevaskis has a strapped quad, while Chris Wright is dealing with a bad ankle,' in an interview with Talking Foxes on BBC Radio Leicester.
