Nottingham Forest, who have won the Carabao Cup four times, will host Newcastle in the competition's second round.

The City Ground will host one of two all-Premier League clashes in the Carabao Cup’s second round, with Nottingham Forest taking on Newcastle.

West Ham United will also face Premier League opposition, drawing Bournemouth.

Four matches will see fourth-tier teams face top-flight sides: Ipswich Town visits AFC Wimbledon, Colchester welcomes Brentford, and Doncaster and Tranmere travel to Everton and Leicester, respectively.

League Two’s Fleetwood Town, having defeated Championship side West Brom, will host Rotherham United from the third tier.

The second-round matches are scheduled for the week starting August 26.

Premier League teams competing in European tournaments, including defending champions Liverpool, will enter the cup in the third round.
