Forest Midfielder Danilo Faces Broken Ankle Setback.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo has been diagnosed with a broken ankle, as confirmed by manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

The 23-year-old midfielder Danilo suffered a severe injury during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Bournemouth at the City Ground. He fell awkwardly on his left leg while challenging Antoine Semenyo just six minutes into the match.

Danilo received nine minutes of on-pitch treatment before being rushed to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for further assessment, which will take place on Sunday.

"It was a terrible moment for everyone," said Nuno Espirito Santo. "He has broken his ankle."
