Ferrari leads in both the practice sessions at the United States Grand Prix.

Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc clinched the top position in the two practice sessions at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.

In the first practice session, Carlos Sainz set the quickest time and secured the pole position by edging out Red Bull's Max Verstappen by 0.225s.

In a busy first 60 minutes of practice at the Circuit of the Americas, Ferrari driver Sainz pumped in a 1m:36.857s on the Soft Pirellis.

While in the second practice session, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc topped, where the times were essentially meaningless due to the session being dedicated to 2023 Pirelli Tyre testing.

However, Leclerc was able to set his fastest time on this year's medium tyre early in the session.

Carlos Sainz, who was fastest in the opening practice session, was fourth, ahead of Haas’ Mick Schumacher and the McLaren of Lando Norris.
