Ex-Champion Amosov Announces End of Bellator Deal.

Former Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov has announced that his contract with the promotion has concluded.

Yaroslav Amosov, the former Bellator welterweight champion, announced on Instagram that his contract with Bellator has ended. He thanked the promotion for an "unforgettable six years."

The 31-year-old won the title from Douglas Lima in 2021 but took a hiatus to defend Ukraine against Russia's invasion. He returned in 2023, defeating Logan Storley to unify the division before losing to Jason Jackson in November, his final Bellator fight.

Amosov reflected on his time with Bellator, saying, "It’s been an unforgettable six years, filled with title wins, defending the belt, and facing personal challenges. This isn’t the end, but a new beginning. The journey continues, and I look forward to seeing you in the octagon."

During his tenure with Bellator, Amosov won eight of his nine fights, having joined the organization in 2018.
