Chris Eubank Jr is aiming for a fight with star Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez in May and hopes to face British rival Conor Benn within the next 12 months.
Chris Eubank Jr. will fight Poland's Kamil Szeremeta on October 12 in Saudi Arabia. He hasn’t fought since last September, when he avenged a loss to Liam Smith.
“I want to get back into the swing of things and line up these big fights over the next 12 months,” Eubank Jr. told the BBC Radio 5 Live Boxing podcast.
Although he hasn’t won a recognized world title, Eubank Jr. remains a major draw in British boxing. He was in talks to face unified super-middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez next month, but negotiations fell through. “There were discussions, but we couldn’t agree on the terms. I wasn’t looking for a Canelo fight just for a payday,” Eubank Jr. said.
