England's men wins Commonwealth gold in the lawn bowls triples event.

Team England excitedly celebrate their Commonwealth gold which they clinch in the lawn bowls triples event at Victoria Park in Leamington Spa.

England men overcame the Australian trio of Barry Lester, Carl Healy and Ben Twist 14-12 to claim the gold medal.

England started on fire, racing out to an 8-0 lead after the first seven ends, before extending that advantage to 12-1 by the end of the ninth.

Later Australia trio fought back aggressively and by the 12th end they reduced the deficit to just 12-8. By the 16th end, Australia had drawn level to set up a tense finale as players from both sides began to feel the pressure.

English trio of Louis Ridout, Nick Brett and Jamie Chestney again put their lead beyond Australia's reach in the 18th and final end.
