England vs New Zealand, 2nd Test: Unique Batting Record In Test Cricket Broke By Trent Boult.

New Zealand’s pacer Trent Boult made headlines on Day 2 of the ongoing England vs New Zealand second Test match at the Trent Bridge stadium in Nottingham, United Kingdom for a reason that is not related to his bowling.

The Kiwi pacer scored a total of 16 runs in 18 balls and became the highest run-scorer at the no 11 position in Test cricket.

Formerly the record was hold by the magic spinner of Sri Lanka Muttiah Muralitharan (623 runs), scoring the 16 runs the Kiwi pacer passed the record runs scored by any No.11 batter. Now Trent Boult leads the chart scoring 640* runs.

At the same time, England pacer James Anderson is the next batter on the list, having scored a total of 618* runs while batting in 164 innings at the No. 11.

After breaking the record for most runs while batting at number 11, Boult said: "I've had my eye on this record for 10-and-a-half years now."
