England's Euro 2022-winning and Manchester City's veteran midfielder Jill Scott has officially announced her retirement from football with immediate effect.
Jill Scott, the second-most capped footballer called for her departure at the age of 35.
Scott made her England debut in 2006 and had made 161 senior international appearances and became the second-most capped footballer just 11 appearances behind the most capped footballer, Fara Williams with 172.
Over a 16-years international career, Scott played in four World Cups, four European Championships and two Olympic Games for Team GB and like White she will be remembered as one of the Lionesses' all-time greats.
