England Dominates Ireland with Convincing Win in First T20.

England defeated Ireland by 67 runs in the first T20 in Dublin with a commanding all-round display.

Chasing a record 177, Ireland was dismissed for 109, giving England a 1-0 lead in the two-match series. England, featuring four debutants, dominated with a balanced performance.

Orla Prendergast scored a spirited 52 off 34 balls for Ireland, while debutant Charis Pavely took 3-19.

England's 176 was anchored by Bryony Smith’s explosive 58 off 24 balls in a strong opening stand with Tammy Beaumont.

Despite a mid-innings collapse from 112-1 to 116-4, Mady Villiers’ 35 off 15 balls helped stabilize England.

Ireland struggled, limping to 32-3 after the powerplay, with only Prendergast showing resistance against England's strong bowling attack.
