England defender Lucy Bronze has undergone keyhole knee surgery.

Barcelona and England right-back Lucy Bronze has undergone keyhole surgery on her knee after suffering an injury in Barcelona's Champions League win over Chelsea last week.

Bronze went down in the second half of the first leg at Stamford Bridge, clutching her right knee and receiving treatment from the Barca physios.

The Lionesses' full-back wasn't even able to walk down the tunnel, instead hobbling towards the dressing room in obvious discomfort.

But the England defender could now be fit for the second leg on Thursday with her injury not as bad as first feared.
