British number one Jack Draper aims to play "more aggressively" as he prepares to face Botic van de Zandschulp in the US Open third round on Saturday.
Jack Draper, 22, sees an opportunity in his side of the draw after Carlos Alcaraz, a title favorite, was stunned by world number 74 Botic van de Zandschulp in straight sets.
Draper now faces the Dutchman for a spot in the US Open's fourth round, with their match set for Grandstand at Flushing Meadows.
Reflecting on earlier narrow defeats this year, Draper has focused on being more aggressive. "I realized I need to take charge in key moments," said the 25th seed. "After losing several close matches, I knew I had to be more assertive and not rely on my opponents making mistakes."
