Britain's Jack Draper has pulled out of the Shanghai Masters following an injury he sustained at the Japan Open on Sunday.
During his quarter-final match against France's Ugo Humbert, Draper received treatment for an abdominal issue and ultimately had to retire from the match.
The 22-year-old was returning to the ATP circuit after an impressive run to the US Open semi-finals earlier in September.
As the world number 20, Draper also played in two of Great Britain's three Davis Cup ties in Manchester, though he faced tough competition and lost both of his singles matches.
Despite these setbacks, his recent performances highlight his potential to bounce back in future tournaments.
