Jack Draper’s impressive US Open run continued as he defeated Alex de Minaur to reach his first Grand Slam semifinal.
Jack Draper showcased his talent and determination, defeating Alex de Minaur 6-3, 7-5, 6-2. Draper, who sought treatment for a leg issue early in the second set, played strongly on his Arthur Ashe Stadium debut.
With this win, Draper became the first British man to reach the US Open semifinals since Andy Murray’s 2012 title. He will face world number one Jannik Sinner on Friday.
Draper reflected, "Playing on the biggest court in the world is a dream come true. I think his struggles might have helped me."
